A big beauty myth is that flawless skin comes from only one source. Well, in my experience there is no such thing but I have found that what works is usually a combination of proven treatments or products.

In addition to the above you have to include exercise and nutrition. The overall health of your skin depends on all of the above.

When I designed my treatments I took bits and pieces of tested products and treatments that I knew worked and combined them. The results are of course a flawless complexion, that is smoother and brighter.

Antioxidants and Sunscreen

These age preventing duo should be in your beauty arsenal as when combined create a powerful shield against aging. Antioxidants come from fruits and vegetables and eating them regularly will ward off the signs of aging.

Antioxidants are specifically known for nullifying the effects of free radicals. Free radicals are molecules that have a multitude of damaging effects including aging.

Using sunscreen all year round is the best defense for your skin as it will ultimately prevent sun damaged skin. Leathery skin, deep wrinkles, brown spots, uneven color complexion, are some of the more common forms of sun damage. The worst of course is skin cancer.

What most people don’t know is that the effects of the sun are cumulative and its effects are not evident in our youth.

However, antioxidants again will help nullify the effects of the sun but when you use sunscreen daily it will add another additional layer of sun protection.
