Should I Use A Serum

May 5th, 2010

What makes a serum different from other skin care products like a moisturizer, cream or lotion?

The defining quality of a serum is that it is made up of smaller particles. This makes it easier for the main ingredients to be delivered deeper into the skin, providing quicker results.

Serums deliver high concentrations of skin-nourishing ingredients while other skin care products like moisturizers can be more superficial.

Serums Work Wonders For The Skin

This is what makes a serum so special and why, regardless of your AGE you should be using one regularly.

I think you will agree with me, that deeper wrinkles are harder to erase than finer or superficial ones.

Some of the most essential ingredients used in serums are vitamins, nutrients and hyaluronic acid, used to brighten and feed the skin.

Sure you can get these in other types of products but if the molecular structure is not small enough, they won’t penetrate deep within the skin.

This is the secret of the serum and why they can be so effective in tackling just about any of your skin care concerns.

But if they are so good why should I use anything else?

There is NOT one single solution to the achievement of flawless skin and serums are just one piece of the puzzle.

However, I feel sure that using the correct serum, will be an investment in intervention and younger looking skin way into the future.

If you would like help in choosing the correct serums for you, please feel free to ask me!
