The Sun Causes Free Radicals And Cell Damage!

February 17th, 2010

“What spirit is so empty and blind, that it cannot recognize the fact that the foot is more noble than the shoe, and skin more beautiful that the garment with which it is clothed?” — Michelangelo

Like many of my clients I love the beach and the outdoors, so I use preventative measures to lessen the sun’s impact on my skin. Many of you know that the sun can cause damage to our skin regardless of the season.

2044489_blogThe sun’s UV rays do not necessarily diminish during the winter, and this is the time when people grow careless in their sun protection routine. Ultimately it shows in wrinkles, sunspots and overall aging.

The MAIN reason skin damage can occur so rapidly without sun protection is that the damage is cumulative. The sun’s UV rays are a form of radiation, even small doses can cause a surge of free radicals.

Free radicals are the main reason for aging and damaged SKIN. These unstable particles cause an unbalance to your cells and like a domino effect, can cause great damage to an entire system of cells.

It is this same process that causes apples to turn brown and iron to rust.

An effective preventative measure you can take is to eat foods rich in antioxidants. These NEUTRALIZE and even repair the damage caused by free radicals.

Another way to repair sun damage skin and to erase that damage, is the VitaLight, or the light as I like to call it.

IT ERASES FINE LINES AND WRINKLES AND RESTORES FIRMNESS AND ELASTICITY TO SUN DAMAGED SKIN.

Light therapy is one of the most effective methods I know of that helps to create flawless skin.

I boost its power for faster results by using microdermabrasion and pure oxygen, infused with an antioxidant spiked serum.
